The T Man took a well deserved break from his studies to go out and have a few beers and brought me along. I wondered if it was because he felt an obligation to me but he assured me it wasn't, just wanted to get out of the house. After the all the schoolwork he's been doing after coming home from his job, that seemed logical.
We hit two places that were quite bereft of action but got to talk about everything from baseball, professions, traveling, our families, the area and its populace, you name it. Earlier in the evening a friend of theirs came by who was speechless to hear how long we had known each other. Of course, we're used to that by now.
It was a low key evening. Nothing to speak of, but nice to be out for a change of scenery.

Tomorrow is the 4th and I have to be up for a hike in the San Diego Mountains.
