Much apartment searching this evening. Saw one of the most magnificent houses I've ever stepped foot in. That was leading off the search in La Jolla. Perched at the summit of a humongous hill, the house was only 4 years old, had panoramic views that stretched over San Diego Bay in the front and a solid 50 miles north in the back. Balconies on each floor, canopied barbecue area on the ground level. Just spectacular. But I don't think it's worth paying a thousand bucks a month to stay in one room upstairs and share everything else. Pass.
The rest was a mixed bag. Found a few in a cluster that might be a possibility. Then saw a bunch that were definite no's.
I stopped in Ocean Beach to get some food and watch David Ortiz win the Home Run Derby. Awesome.
