Just sat through an open interview for a bartending job downtown. Felt more like a casting call. There were 40 other people there. Zero camraderie amongst the candidates.
Though I'm way overqualified for the job I had a great discussion with the owner, an Australian expatriate who has turned down a salary in order to expand her business (now with 3 locations).
Felt energized and daunted on the way back, but AC/DC picked me up with some words of wisdom. Glad I didn't spin the radio dial.
